Official Promotion Rules

‍

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

These Official Rules apply to any giveaway, sweepstakes, or promotion (each a “Promotion”) offered by Scott & Jon’s unless otherwise stated in the specific promotional materials.

1. Eligibility

Promotions are open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Scott & Jon’s, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. Promotions are void where prohibited by law and are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. Agreement to Rules

By participating in any Promotion, entrants (“You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and represent and warrant that they meet all eligibility requirements. You agree that the decisions of Scott & Jon’s are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.

3. Promotion Period

Each Promotion will run during the dates and times specified in the applicable promotional materials. Entries submitted outside the stated Promotion period will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter

Entry methods will be described in the applicable promotional materials. All entries must meet the stated requirements to be eligible. Incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, or non-compliant entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Scott & Jon’s.

Unless otherwise stated, limit one entry per person. Attempts to enter using multiple email addresses, identities, devices, or automated means may result in disqualification.

5. Prizes

Prize details, including descriptions and approximate retail value, will be provided in the applicable promotional materials. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash substitution is permitted except at Scott & Jon’s sole discretion. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and any other expenses associated with prize acceptance or use.

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected at random or as otherwise described in the promotional materials. Winners will be notified using the contact information provided at entry. If a winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, fails to claim a prize within the specified time, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

8. Rights Granted by You

By entering, You grant Scott & Jon’s the right, where permitted by law, to use your name, likeness, image, voice, entry, and statements related to the Promotion for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, without additional compensation, notice, or approval.

If a Promotion includes user-generated content, You represent and warrant that your submission is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scott & Jon’s from any claims arising out of your submission.

9. Sponsor’s Rights

Scott & Jon’s reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate any Promotion if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other cause beyond its control compromises the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion.

Scott & Jon’s also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating, You agree to release and hold harmless Scott & Jon’s and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising out of participation in a Promotion or acceptance or use of any prize, except where prohibited by law.

11. Disputes

All disputes arising out of or relating to a Promotion shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
